Welcome to the Tanglewood! This luxury half duplex is located in the prestigious Tanglewood development in Parksville, British Columbia. Newly completed in February 2008, this property is pristine and top of the line. All furniture and appliances are new, and the unit design is modern and comfortable. The Tanglewood complex is located in a truly fantastic area. We are on a very quiet and private street, yet close to many amenities. Within a few minutes walk of our front door you will find the Beach Acres community recreation complex, which contains an indoor pool, whirlpool, tennis court and children's playground. You can walk to mini golf at Riptide Lagoon for the kids, or you can walk to 5 star dining or the luxurious spa at the Tigh na Mara resort. Spectacular Rathtrevor beach is a short walk from the front door and with the added bonus of the beach access being private to members of the Tanglewood development. For those with mobility issues there is a slight incline on the pathway to the beach. This home also backs on to Rathtrevor Provincial Park, which affords you not only a quiet and serene environment, but a beautiful view of Douglas Fir and Arbutus trees. Within 10-15 minutes drive of the Tanglewood you will find 5 golf courses from beginner to championship level, 3 marinas for access to kayaking, sailing, fishing and marine tours, more than a dozen family attractions including a fish hatchery, a parrot refuge, underground caverns, exotic gardens and butterflies. Nearby, the city of Parksville offers fantastic shopping and many diverse restaurants. Public transportation is easily accessible from the Tanglewood as well.
