Anderson Cove is situated on a secluded, sunny, south facing ocean cove located about a 40 minute drive from Victoria BC and a 20 minute drive from the West Shore Shopping area in Langford. From the dock on the cove you can access the Sooke Basin and be out into the Juan de Fuca Strait in a matter of minutes by powered boat. The property borders on East Sooke Park which is well known for its white sand beaches and wild coastal rain forest. The home has a private dock and a boat launch, located at the bottom of the steep oceanfront embankment, allowing you to canoe or swim and watch eagles fish in the pristine clear waters of Anderson Cove and the Sooke Basin. You could also arrange for a local fishing guide or whale watching outfit to pick you up on the dock for your day of adventure on the water.

This bright, rustic west coast home features pine walls and fir floors, a Soap stone wood stove for those cool winter evenings, lots of games for the family and a real west coast cottage feel but with lots of room for your whole group. With all the rooms looking over Anderson Cove, every room has a sunny view of the water. The large open plan main floor, with huge pine table for gathering around, adds to the spectacular decor. At the other end of the living area is the kitchen, allowing for easy entertaining while the Chef of your group prepares the food. The ground floor has two bedrooms with full length glass doors facing the water and a shared bathroom. The top floor features the Master Bedroom with ensuite bathroom and a second bedroom with a futon bed. On the main floor there is also the convenience of a smaller bathroom with shower.

There are many world class activities easily accessed just out your front door. Hike the coastal path with mountain views cycle the Galloping Goose along the old railway line kayaking and cycle rental can be found nearby. A 30 min drive will take you west along the coast to a series of parks and beaches fringed with old growth trees, while eagles soar overhead and the waves crash on the rugged coast. Come and stay and experience a beautiful, classic west coast home.
