This beautiful 1899 Victorian named 'Rand House' is located in the centre of Vancouver's downtown West End neighbourhood. It has been completely restored and rebuilt in 2007 earning it a heritage award. The Residence is unlike any home you can rent anywhere. Attention has been paid to every detail of gracious living while providing every modern convenience and comfort.

The Residence at Rand House boasts original hardwood fir floors, heritage trim, antique doors, traditional hardware and heritage features throughout. The living room features beautiful leather furniture and bay windows. Two sets of French doors open off the living room and dining hall onto a wrap-around veranda where you can enjoy the vibrant neighbourhood with a glass of wine. You can enjoy meals with up to 12 people around the massive dining table. There is a chef's kitchen with professional series stainless steel appliances, wine rack, pot rack, pot filler tap, gas range, two ovens and an exterior gas BBQ.

Special features of The Residence include a black Yamaha concert baby grand piano, geothermal radiant floor heating throughout, a silent servant dumb waiter servicing all three floors and roof deck, secret wall safe, beautiful restored coal-gas fireplace, original claw-foot tub with heritage fixtures in secondary room's ensuite, 2nd floor balcony, sliding bookcase secret door to full surround sound media room, plaster cast ceiling medallions with architectural antique fixtures, glass enclosed conservatory on the top floor with heritage tile wainscoting and Victorian style electric fireplace, walk-in gabled closet, spiral staircase leading to roof deck, round turret master bathroom with infinity tub and steam glass shower.

This is a beautiful home! Not only is the suite unique, but its location in one of the few remaining houses in the West End is directly centre-most. Steps to beaches, the famous Seawall bike, roller-blade and walking path around Vancouver's coastline, and a 10-minute walk to the 1,000 acre Stanley Park. Cosmopolitan shopping on Robson Street is three blocks away as are a host of world-class restaurants, cultural events and recreational activities. Walk 10-minutes and take the famous water taxi to Granville Island Market with exotic produce, street performers and Kids Only Market. With so much to do, so close to your home, you are only steps away from a luxurious nap to recharge and get back out exploring.
